Job description:
We are seeking a talented and driven male Crew/sous Chef to join the galley team of an 80m busy private motor yacht.
This is a standout opportunity to join a well-equipped, professional galley led by an incredibly experienced and inspiring Head Chef with a strong culinary pedigree. The yacht is privately owned by a family that values high standards and a positive working culture.
Your primary focus will be preparing healthy, high-quality meals for a crew of 22. You will also assist in guest service, especially in baking fresh bread and preparing desserts.
Strong skills in pastry and bakery are required, along with a confident, guest-facing attitude for occasional guest service using the yacht’s exceptional outdoor galley and barbecue areas.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years on similar-sized yachts and a strong background in high-end restaurant kitchens. Experience with Italian and Mediterranean cuisine is important. A calm, hardworking team player with no ego or drama is essential.
This is a rotational 2:2 position, offering an excellent work-life balance aboard a modern dual-season yacht.
